Art Weaver SAORI Studio is an internationally registered and authorised SAORI dealer.

We can supply you with SAORI weaving looms and products to meet your needs.

 

In our experience, we have found the most popular loom is the SAORI WX60 loom.  It is beautifully designed and easy to use and we keep regular stock of this model in our studio here.

 

The fixed frame CH60A-2 loom (wheelchair accessible & height adjustable) is a great option for anyone who has physical limitations. These SAORI  loom models are available for you to use at Art Weaver SAORI Studio.

 

SAORI® is the trademark of the Sakaiseikisangyo Company in Osaka, Japan. It covers the principles, the method of teaching and the manufacture of looms and equipment.

 

 

Assembly and adjustment of all looms is done by our in-house loom expert. See below for an overview of the specifics of the SAORI WX60.

SAORI WX 60

The SAORI WX60 loom is made of beautiful wood and foldable for transport and storage. You can fold and unfold the loom instantly. It has excellent durability and stability.

  • Maximum warp width 60cm (any warp width up to max is possible)
  • High-quality birch wood frame
  • Folds easily for transport and storage.
  • Built-in bobbin winder
  • Built in shelf
  • The rubber friction warp control pedal lets you advance the warp while remaining seated.
  • Stainless steel reed (5 dents/cm). Other size reeds available on order.
  • Wire heddles have larger holes to make threading easier.
  • Harness cord stoppers are pre-installed.
  • A 4-shaft spring system can be attached at a future time if required

LOOM ASSEMBLY & SERVICE

 

All SAORI looms sold by our studio are assembled on site, adjusted and fully checked by our very own engineer Greg.  If ordered, height risers and wheels will also be fitted.

We are confident to offer FREE servicing of all SAORI looms sold by Art Weaver SAORI Studio.

 

We also offer loom servicing for a fee to anyone experiencing problems or difficulties with their SAORI loom to ensure it is functioning perfectly and provide many years of weaving pleasure.
