Saturday 4th October saw six complete beginners sit down at Saori looms and weave up a storm! In just 3 hours this group each created unique and individually designed handwoven cloth, ranging from 50cm to 150cm long. Bright contrasts, soft subtle blends, twisted & textured and striking graphics all emerged over the morning session.  Here’s a brief peek at their weaving on this lovely October morning.

All remaining Saori Saturdays are fully booked for the remainder of 2014. There are still places available in weekly Weds & Thurs sessions. If you would like to try out Saori weaving for yourself, friends and family, please give me a call!

An idea for Christmas – Art Weaver Studio GIFT CERTIFICATES are available. At $45 for a 3hr (all materials included) Saori weaving lesson, this could be a great present for family & friends. Email heather@artweaver.com.au to order.

In addition to regular weekly Wednesdays & Thursdays, first quarter 2015 Saori Saturday dates for groups of 4-6 are as follows:

January 17th  10am – 5pm  (6 hrs weaving)

February 14th  10am – 5pm  (6 hrs weaving)

March  28th  10am – 5pm  (6 hrs weaving)

Note:   Art Weaver Studio will be closed from December 5th 2014,  reopening January 14th 2015
